WALT: Write a persuasive piece of writing

Ban plastic 

Did you know that if you throw plastic out on the streets
that could go through the drains, and come out into the
ocean and harm the sea life. I personally think that if
you have plastic or rubbish you should put it in the bin
instead of throwing it out and probably having a 50%
chance of killing poor animals. I'm sure you know that
if you throw out rubbish it can go into drains and into
the sea and sea animals will eat it.

My first reason is because, if you love animals, the
sea, and nature, you can simpally harm that if you
throw out rubbish, Did you know Thousands of
seabirds and sea turtles, seals and other marine
mammals are killed each year after ingesting plastic
or getting entangled in it.

My second reason is if you love animals or marine
creatures / animals, did you know that 100,000
marine creatures a year die from plastic entanglement
and these are the ones found. Approximately 1 million
sea birds also die from plastic.

My third reason is because if you drop rubbish it can
wash away into the sea, or in trees and an animal
could see it and may think its food and they will eat
it thinking its food, the plastic they eat can get stuck
in their mouth and they will die, since your not
supposed to eat plastic.

If you throw away rubbish on the streets its like
throwing away our planet.

A fact is that, Tens of thousands of whales, birds,
seals and turtles are killed every year from plastic
bag litter in the marine environment as they often
mistake plastic bags for food such as jellyfish.
Plastic bags, once ingested, cannot be digested
or passed by an animal so it stays in the gut. You
do agree, Right?

Animals are like children, keep them safe and alive,
don't throw out rubbish to harm them. 

When you throw out plastic on the streets it goes out into the drain into the sewers into the sea, and kills 99% of sea animals, I personally think you should encourage people to stop throwing out rubbish, put your rubbish in the bin, Help the sea life! Persuasive writing: Ban smoking!

 Do you know that if someone is pregnant then they start smoking that can harm their
baby really bad?

I personally think that you should ban smoking because it can harm people badly,
such as giving people cancer, did you know that?

My first reason is because if you smoke your lungs can be very affected from
smoking, Did you know that, coughs, colds,
wheezing, and asthma is just the start that can happen to you if you smoke? 

A fact is that, Smoking can cause fatal diseases such as pneumonia, emphysema
and even lung cancer.Also another fact is that, Smoking causes 84% of deaths
from lung cancer and 83% of deaths from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Another one of my reasons is because if you smoke you can damage your brain
and that can equal to death. 

If you keep smoking for about a couple weeks or maybe a few months even
some years, you will get lung cancer or something and you will have
about 5% of a chance to live, so if you don't want to have a very low
percent of chance to die I suggest you don't smoke!

If your wondering why almost every shop has their smokes up to
60-100 dollars? Well it's because they want smoking to stop! It's bad for
you and can fairly damage your brain, joints, skin, eyes, gums, digestive system,
lungs, your heart and etc!

Seriously people don’t smoke! If you love your family tell them to stop
persuade them! You know that they can leave you if you just let them smoke!
Try to tell them to stop, throw out all of those smokes!

Smoking can cause fair damage to your body. I suggest you protect your body,

and your family, friends, even strangers! It’s sad how many lives get taken away
each day.

And this is why I think that you should ban smoking, I understand if you don't
agree with me but I personally think you should save all those poor lives that
go almost every single day from smoking, thank you,

  I like how in kyahs persuasive piece of writing she separated
her writing into paragraphs and the spelling was really good
and correct.She also used lots of connecting words that link up.
Another thing that I liked about it was that she had lots of facts
of how smoking can be bad. The next step learning could be to link
the conclusion a bit more with the introduction.

Thank you lily, I sure will follow my next step learning! I do need to still
work, on things like that! I think ill work on making more reasons and my
sentences more detailed! Thank You lily for your advice! I will be sure to follow it!

I was walking through the park so I could get to the pond as I was walking I could see the tiny droplets falling from the sky. I continued walking then I was at the pond I looked into the pond and saw the shimmering see through water, I thought it was satisfying. I made a bucket shape with my hands and scooped out some water and tasted it, I thought it tasted nice especially the cold refreshing taste of the water After I took my hands out the water started to splash all about. 

I was walking through the park to get to the pond as I walked I decided to get my friends Summer and Mackenzie And Hannah, As we walked Summer and Hannah  starred at the tiny droplets falling from the sky. We continued walking then we were at the pond I looked into the pond and saw the shimmering see through water, WE all thought it was satisfying. I started to get thirsty so I made a bucket shape with my hands and  had a sip of the cold nice refreshing water Then my friends tried some They thought it was nice after we had sips we stared back into the water and saw it flopping around and splashing.

Homeless

For this activity you had to give advise and tips on how to help the homeless. This activity was fun to make and really sad for how much homeless people are out their.
