The Giraffe and the Little Girl

Walt: Write descriptive sentences.
For this activity we had to look at a picture and then write a story about it that uses description. Have any of you ever seen a little girl walking a little giraffe before? Well I haven't! In my story I imagined  this to happen. This is sort of a sad story and a happy story so here's my story. I hope you like it!

I think I need to use different types of adjectives next time like adjectives to describe texture, size and shape not just colour.

For this activity we had to fill in a maths sheet and pick a fraction. I picked 4/5. We had to write down the decimal, fraction of a shape, equivalent fractions, the fraction in words and show it on a number line. So here's mine!

This was a fun activity to do because we got to work it out although I did have some help.My next learning step is to do it again by myself with no help.

I hope you guys enjoy it  too!

Fairytale Setting Map

WALT: Describe a setting.
In this activity we watched a fairy tale, my group watched The three Billy Goat's Gruff. Then we had to draw a map showing where each of the settings in the story. We could either do it on our Chromebook or do it on paper. I chose my Chromebook then I found images of the places in the story. In the key I have explained each of the settings and the order they appeared in the story.  This is my drawing, I hope you like it.

WALT: Identify keywords and visualise from what we read.
This term we are investigating unsolved mysteries such as the lochness monster, UFO's and the lost city of Atlantis. First we are discovering if lochness monsters are real.  We had to read some information and then we made a drawing and coloured it in. We had to draw a drawing about a lochness monster without knowing what it looked like and only using the information on the drawing. Here is my drawing, I hope you enjoy.

My Personal Treasure

WALT: Describe a personal treasure using descriptive language features

This is my treasure writing about my teddy bear. We had to think of something special to us so I chose to write about my teddy. I really enjoyed writing this activity because we got to choose something special to us to write about.

Do you have a special teddy like mine?

Well if you do that's great and is it the most precious thing to you?  If it is, it's great.
